Step into the depths of Bog’s Tower in this Deckbuilding Roguelike, where every run is randomly generated and filled with enemies that embody the struggles of the modern age

  • Deckbuilding Chaos – Choose your cards with care! As you embark on your journey, you'll encounter a vast array of cards to enhance your deck with each new challenge.
  • Packed Combat – Face off against caricatures of the modern world, each presenting unique challenges.
  • Vill you eat ze bugs?– Descend into the randomly generated depths of Lord Bog's Dungeon, encountering events which choices will either help or hinder you on your journey.

  • Coal or Gems? – Scattered throughout the extraordinary dungeon lie powerful items. These items can dramatically amplify the strength of your deck, offering game-changing synergies and interactions.

  • Frens - As you journey through the depths of the dungeon, you’ll encounter allies willing to join your cause—each bringing unique abilities, passive buffs, or tactical advantages.

Pretty good; It's constructed well enough to hit the same way as Slay the Spire. 

Bugs:

  • Rest can't be played. Wagie Alarm doesn't deal damage.
  • Start of battle status effects from items will wear off when your turn starts.
  • There's an extra copy of Slash in the collection that deals 50 damage.
  • The map frequently generates with side paths you can't escape from.
  • Orangutan's attack indicator doesn't show it hits twice, Shroom will show (attack 1) for its poison move.
  • The decision events' text gets cut off.
  • When selecting items, things like potions will show <value> instead of an ammount.

Hopes:

  • There's no way to refuse adding a new card/item.
  • Allies should go directly after you, so enemies don't get to sucker punch them first turn.
  • Some of the items/cards are boringly similar, which also makes 'direct upgrades' more glaring. (Supremacy > Rage > Lift > Pink Scream)
  • "Face off against caricatures of the modern world" makes me hope for something heavier than Wojaks gnomes. Enemy designs that speak to the original intent of each face.

Thank you so much for the feedback! I've already addressed a lot of the bugs and they should be fixed in the next update.

Addressing Your Hopes:

  • No option to refuse cards/items – I’ll have to see how balance goes. If you could refuse everything, it might be too easy to build an overpowered deck.

  • Allies acting after enemies – That was a bug! They’ll now go right after you as intended.

  • Items/cards feeling too similar – There are a lot more cards that aren’t in the beta yet. I kept the pool small to focus on core mechanics and squash major bugs first.

  • Enemy Issue – Later stages have much more interesting enemies, but I’ll look into shuffling some around to keep the first stage engaging.
